Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Drank over two days, notes based on day2 showing. The beautiful but restrained nose offers citrus, aniseed, herbal saltiness, some tart green apples and even a hint of honey. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and has a strong acidic backbone. There's a good concentration of fruit but the taste is intense and lightweight. There is a lot of fresh, pure citrus and also some green apples and some nice minerality. The long, dry taste is extremely consistent and has a pleasant, seamless finish. Overall the wine is extremely balanced, focused and terrific with food, having that desirable ability to totally cleanse the palate.
