Looks very old, red with some bricking and pale rim spicy, leathery nose with some dark fruit, ripe and a little blowsy Lacking fruit and focus. Leathery finish, spicy. Warming spicy finish Probably a bit too old

Light garnet in colour, savoury nose with crisp red fruits. Enjoyed some lighter chewy cherry palate which glided down. Easy to drink. No Grand Cru and not a complex brooding number (more like the nice girl down the street) but enjoyable company nonetheless.

Light garnet colour, welcoming nose matched by a savoury red fruits, chewy cherry and a delight to drink. Enjoyed this bottle. No Grand Cru but a very respectable tasty bottle of wine

Medium red in colour the nose has stem, cherry and subtle oak influences. The palate is light to medium bodied with cherry fruit that lacks drive over the mid palate. The finish shows silky tannins, integrated oak and spicy stem characters. The wine certainly has potential to develop more weight over time. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink by 2014)

{screwcap, 13%} The garnet/crimson colour of mainstream pinot. Not especially bright. Soft cherries on the palate, with a whiff of supporting strawberries. Accurately varietal. The youthful palate is soft and gentle, with only a little furry tannin, very little if any oak, and proportionate fruit weight to the scale of the wine. Light-medium bodied, but with a shortish finish, it’s a decent enough expression of pinot for a modest price (~A$22) but remains rather one-dimensional. It is pretty young, so another 2-3 years will likely add a dimension that its missing now, but it’s unlikely to ever rise beyond a decent weekday drink.

This was a gift so providence unknown. Somewhat stewed. Similar to a Grenache. Passed its best but certainly drinkable.

Roses, no tannins, concentrated fruit but a clumsy mouthfeel. Probably better with food. Drink up!

Enjoyed this. Relatively simple pinot, but a pretty nose and highly drinkable. Just missing some character in my opinion in the middle of the pallet.
