I get a titch of non-offensive gasoline on the nose, and somehow this is nearly effervescent on the fore palate. Tons of fruit left here ... this should keep coasting along for a long time. Really quite spectacular at this stage.

This Sanchietti pinot was quite nice, but seemed to be fading a bit past what may have been its peak. We regularly drive by one of the newer Sanchietti vineyards that was planted just a few years ago in a relatively high traffic location, and look forward to what it may produce in the years ahead.

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrry smooth! There's red and dark red cherry and cola on the nose and palate. Beautiful integration of tannins and acidity. We had it with grilled shrimp and beef tenderloin and it accented both flawlessly. Enjoyable!!

i loved this PN. it was bigger and fruitier (almost chewy) than i was expecting. I had not tasted DG '08 for many months, and this one was just fabulous. drank with a thick pumpkin soup and salad (no meat) but it still matched wonderfully. Looking forward to the rest i have as i do not see a near-term dropoff

Gorgeous Pinot Noir. Consumed on my engagement night with average expectations, and it was thoroughly enjoyed literally to the last drop, with my Fiance (she said yes) and I fighting for it.. intensely aromatic nose of wild Strawberries, cola, and baking spices, with continuity on the palate and a very long finish.. Tannins had resolved beautifully..

Similar to previous bottle, but this more leisurely tasting opportunity also showed persistent blueberry syrup, pie spice, sweet cherry and warm, peppery alcohol. Minimal tannin, juicy acidity, medium body, with an average finish. Fresh and quaffable. A couple hours decant helped to soften and smooth this a bit. Overall a nice, elegant Pinot Noir, forward and fruity, barely carrying its alcohol. I would enjoy this now or over the next 3 years.

Beautiful, clear ruby-purple. Nice, rich bacon fat nose. Plenty of ripe, smokey, peppery pinot fruit, with light tannins and a touch of acidity. Alcohol just under control. Lovely wine. Drink now or hold several years. 13.5% abv. Tasted at the winery tasting room.

Very Good. Tasted at vinyard, 2009. Multi-layered. Exciting acidity.

Faint menthol-like thing on the nose. Bit of Pinot sweet in the middle and some spice on the end. Nice
