Medium gold color. Expressive nose of pineapple, mango, and lemon. Palate shows Meyer Lemon, pineapple, honeysuckle, and melon notes that carry into a medium finish. A great showing, well paired with summertime fare. Really, a tremendous value to my mind, given the price point alternatives. Drink.

Bright yellow color. Sweet apple, peach, pear, and pineapple on the nose. Palate follows with floral pear, pineapple, lemon, and some sweet mineral notes that carry into a medium finish. Went well as the base for a mussel and clam boil with fennel and lime thyme as the herb elements. Drink.

Medium-light yellow color. Floral pear, melon, and apple aromas. Palate has sweet apple and pear with honeysuckle and some lemon notes that carry into a medium-short finish. Not as sharp as the first bottle sampled earlier in the year, but a nice showing. Drink with the vintage.

A simple, straightforward yet very decent entry-level white Burg, showing lots of citrus and herbal notes on both the nose & palate. Moderate acidity & a medium-length finish. Not particularly complex or terroir-driven, but a good example of basic Burgundian chardonnay.

Bright sunshine yellow color. Aromas of pear, peach, and flowers. Palate has peach, pear, yellow apple, honeysuckle, and a bit of sweet lemon that leads into a medium finish. Not overdone in any way and a joy to drink. Drink.

A light but still substantial wine, crisp apple in the mouth, agreeably tannic green plum long on the finish. Just the thing for cleansing the palate and complementing over-sweet desserts like pecan pie. Also: Not a trace of being over the hill.

Had a bottle with dinner at a friend's house. As others have noted, light and crisp, although perhaps a bit tart (for me). Although this is clearly not a grand cru :-). I suspect that it might improve over a few years. Other St. Verans I have had seemed to do so. I guess it depends on how you like them.

Pure, honest, lightweight, simple white Burgundy - hard to ask for more for $13, the only problem is that I much preferred the generic Laforet blanc from Drouhin which I think is even cheaper...

Consistent notes from all of the other bottles I've had (including the one I drank about 5 months ago). QPR is great, even for a Cote Maconnais. Medium bodied, a touch of oak, Macon at heart, and would accompany many foods well.

Good for the price tag, although not quite as good as previous vintages.

Solid and pleasing, good fruit and enough structure to frame the fruit.

Surprisingly good for a burg, considering the price. Crisp chardonnay, well balaced though ever so slightly fat, with a nice finish.
