Black fruit on the nose. Big black fruit and cherry flavors and a long finish. Full bodied. Smooth tannins. Good acidity. Balanced. Complex. Could last another year. Was a great accompaniment to smoked pork nachos.

Why I love Washington Reds... Rich and deep; dark fruit without being jammy - allowing room for the smooth tannins on the finish. You can drink on opening but better after a couple hours...

Opened at cellar temperature and drank immediately. Glassware: Eisch breathable Bordeaux glass. Deep pinkish purple, nearly but not quite opaque. Not much nose right out of the bottle. Good fruit and fairly well balanced. Not a lot going on, but a good pop-and-pour wine for a Monday night.

Not as good as the last bottle; plenty to sediment which is a 5 Star tradition.
