Nice! Mainly oak related flavours though, but pleasant ones. Good texture and length. Drinking well now, enjoyable. 13% alc.
Not terribly interesting, but good solid bordeaux. Cherries, leather and spice with some earthy undertones.
Ripe and aromatic nose of smoky cassis, mineral and dried herb. Medium bodied with firm tannins and balanced acidity; comes up a bit short, hopefully time with enhance the perception.
2001 Claret Tasting (Vintners' Hall, London): Odd nose, wood smoke and spice, interesting
