Very nice cab, typical of California. Blackberry and spice with definite oaky influence. High alcohol (14.6) with moderate complexity and long finish. Very enjoyable and would happily drink again.

This wine is just now hitting its potential. Nice fruity nose, good legs, nice smooth tannins and very refreshing ending. Had with bleu cheese burgers and wine was perfect compliment.

Nice bold heavy fruit on the nose, with dark mountain fruit and smooth start on the palate with black licorice, blackberry, leather and spicy taste... good beginning but awkward finish.

Lots of black licorice on the nose, with spicy cedar and smoky herbs. Relatively thin palate, mid-weight, more black licorice and spice, black cherry and red currant impressions, but the fruit lacks any real depth or character. This is a decent but quite basic Cab. Borrowed from another review but spot on.

Nice manufactured cab. Purple color. Nose is vanilla and dark fruit with a solid nose. Palate is sour cherries and bitter minerality that donates a finish that turns sweet in its dying moments. Nice table wine but a little rich at $30. 5+11+15+7=88

Was good on day one but lost everything include fruit and oak, only some heat and little chewy tannin-even vacuum sealed as usual. Not totally integrated or just essentially lack the ability.

Lighter on palate than the 2006 vintage, but still good enough for the price--got it from US for US$18.99, for the price tag in BCLC of C$34.95, probably doesn't worth it.

I was sick after driniking this wine. It tasted fine, but be careful if you have a sensitive tummy. I know it was the wine because I had a glass each night until i figured out was going on.

St. Francis always surprises me with good quality value wines. This one had a beautiful fruity bouquet, and was rich and complex on the palate, but with a somewhat tart aftertaste. A decent cab.

Part of the blind Sonoma cab taste test and way my #2 pick overall. Not near as fruit forward, but a well balanced and well executed Sonoma cab. More earthy tones with a strong finish.

Basically disappointing - seemed lacking in character. I can't put my finger on anything specifically wrong, but I was underwhelmed and almost immediately sorted this into the "no reason to buy again" bin.

A little better than the 06 with some more complexity, but still tastes mass produced.

Red currant and black licorice, medium weight, a little bit of oak. Not bad for the price range, but a fairly basic cab (not much complexity).

Rich currant and cherry fruit with tar and smoky oak notes. Well-balanced and structured with ripe tannins and good acidity. Finishes well.
