Classic old vine Priorat. Lifted and focused aromatic of black cherry fruit with loads of black mineral, slate, and a toasted herb note. Palate brings medium weight pure black cherry and blackberry fruit with a prominent herb, mineral undertone. Good energy and acidity with suave, fine, soft tannin. Delivers terroir -- as you can taste and feel the old vine and rocky soil in this wine. Fully mature, holding up well, but likely on the back of it's plateau. I would drink up. Lovely stuff with moderate complexity. My only question is I wonder if it's any better or complex now than 10 years ago ... I don't think so.

Firm cherry fruit, and a solid backbone of crisp acidity and gentle tannin. Perhaps slightly lacking in charm, but still holding together pretty well considering its age. It is definitely time to drink these up if you still have any, as I do not see it improving, and it is not showing quite as well as it was a few years ago.

Not much intensity aromatically; Grilled meat, earth. Spicy and piercing texture, solid structure with noticeable tannin. Fruit is right there, with an interesting herbal note. Quite satisfying and food friendly, but not a great deal of depth and probably as good as it's going to get.

Pretty one dimensional. Nice fruit, with a lot of sweetness.
