Tasted double blind, this seemed like a ripe vintage Vosne 1er crus to me. Completely seamless and wonderfully elegant with good enough weight, then sneaky length. So very good right now through 2029.

A bottle off the very good list at Chez Bruce in Wandsworth. P & P. Wonderfully complex and ever-evolving perfume, and a mouth-puckering intensity on the palate, with rich red fruits and good length. But after an hour, it began to close down, and thereafter remained merely agreeable but no longer intense. The sommelier suggested leaving our bottles in the cellar at home for at least two more years.

Popped cork on a bottle that had one glass Coravin's 2 weeks earlier. Note after one hour. Dark minerals and Asian spices on the nose. Earth, soy, and dark fruit on the palate. Nice minerality. Solid Vosne village wine. Slightly better than the 09 Jadot Vosne that I drank next to it.

No detailed note (due in part to allergies) but this was drinking nicely tonight. Good fruit and brightness with plenty of body/weight to suggest that a few years of aging will make this even better. Yum!

Drinkable and enjoyable now. Upper end of the "very good" scale. Red berries, esp. cherries and currant flavors, and a slight smokey quality with mild acidity. Are you bringing this to your snobby wine friend's house for dinner? Probably not, because he'll just pull out a La Tache to compare. Save this for a good casual dinner while sitting with your down-to-earth friends in an English garden pairing it with something like a nice top roast with a side of goose fat potatoes. Any garden will do, to be honest.

Smoking, refined bottle of wine. Lightly smokey nose that's oozing with red and black cherry fruit, earth, and spice notes. In the mouth, terrific texture. It's got silky fruit to it, with layers of complexity -- earthy, floral, and spicy complexity. Definitely structured with its acidity and tannin on the back end, but the balance is terrific. A-

Forest floor, red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, cherries), cherry-like acidity, a hint of vanilla... good depth, the wood needs to integrate a bit more, but the stuffing is there... was better on the second day... a wine to drink that probably will be at its best in two to three years time.

Drinking well right now. Very vosne with spice shop notes framed by dark red fruits, dark florals, and worn leather. Lovely overall

Pop and pour, note after 2 hours. Lovely nose of cranberries. Dark fruits with hints of Asian spice and soy. Punching above its village level.

Lovely. Quite dark fruited, glossy and with a touch of spice. Nice mid-palate weight. Finishes well. ****
