Screwcap, 14% alc. A fair amount of silty sediment.
Blackberry, lifted grape concentrate, chocolate, cherry, and aromatic spices on the nose.
Squishy red and black fruit on the palate, with oak playing the bass notes. This is surprisingly juicy and supple. Gentle kittens–tongue tannins, and appropriate acid. Finishes with a nutty oak flavour.
Opinion: delicious wine. The fruit has lost some punch since youth, and the wine is ready to drink now before it declines further. Lacking the structure for long-term ageing.

Alcohol-soaked cherries, vanilla, underbrush, chocolate, and an ethereal lift that I only seem to get when white grapes are added to red wine. A slight band-aid aroma is not obtrusive, though a concern for longer-term ageing.
Sour cherry and blackberry dominate the palate, complemented by vanilla and some dusty, savoury notes. Tannins are fully resolved and the wine is relying on acid for structure. Some VA shows on Day 5 and the wine takes on a VP-like taste.
Opinion: Enjoyable wine that looked better with more aromatic intent on Day 1 than Day 3. Drink now to the next 5 years.

Possibly still improving but sadly this was my last bottle of 3. Still very fresh tasting. Floral nose with a hint of black pastilles. Similar flavours on the palate but a nice dark cherry hit as well. Fantastic food wine.

Travelling spectacularly well with years left in it. Beautiful dark fruits on the nose which continue through the palate with some nice savoury notes. Perhaps hints of olive? Great match for homemade lasagne.

Shiraz 50%, Sangiovese 48.5%, Semillon 1.5%. Outstanding red blend. Layers of complexity and interest. These will keep for much longer than 2018. Drinking beautifully now though.

Stunning nose, violets a hint of tobacco and heather - lovely rich cherry fruit, some lavender super fine drying tannins and a nice splash of acid in the background - really special and probably needs a few years to peak but drinking so well now

Decanted for an hour. Initially strong aroma and flavour of dark cherries but over the course of an hour or so this changed. Dark, chocolatey flavours changed to (red) fruity notes. I stopped trying to guess the makeup of this one and just enjoyed it for what it is. And it is very enjoyable.

Dark black with red around the edges. Some VA which adds to the dark raspberry/vanilla nose. Trying to pick what's in here even though I should just enjoy it. Shiraz certainly, some grenache (there are some musky elements) and some mint perhaps indicating some Langhorne Creek Cabernet? After a couple of hours violets/lavender appear on the nose. The fruit deepens and darkens though raspberry and vanilla still dominate, though some meaty (pastrami) notes appear. Great length and a truly interesting drink. Will get more.
