Good, and kept getting better over many many hours open. Sat in decanter for a couple of days and I returned to it, expecting nothing, but what a nice surprise. Full, structured, concentrated. Plenty tannic, but plenty of dense fruit to hold the balance. Will age.

Very nice Ripasso from one of the best producers in Valpolicella. Black cherries, raisin, a bit smoke and a slight sweetness gives a harmonic wine.
