Dark. Can't see through this at all. Nose of dark chocolates and kirsch. Palate shows an intensely red/black fruit driven cab with a very luxurious feel. It's pillow-y and plush with so much going on. The tannins are resolving well and overall mouthfeel is medium weight on a heavy weighted-ready bone structure. Notes of cocoa, exotic tea leaf and black cherry pie, this is such a big package for a small price-point. Always one of my favorites and has been so since the 2003 vintage.

Napa Valley - Tasted at winery: Aromas of dark fruits, earth. Fairly well balanced but definitely needs a few more years to integrate tannins and acidity. On the palate dark fruits, oak, leather notes.

An amazing wine at an amazing price. Decanted for a little less than an hour. Fruit, fruit, and more fruit in the initial sips. This wine has finesse. The finish is short. Definitely needs a little more time..just a little. Have had two bottles; keeping the others for at least two more years. Have a magnum. Will definitely put a hold on that until 2018.

Yummy. Down to four bottles. Unfortunatly, jones family did not offer me as many as i wanted for 2011. Only got three. Hoping 2012 allows for a case purchase.

Decanted. Beautiful floral cab nose, dark ink color. Silky mouthfeel. Intially in the mouth, this is full of fruit. The finish on this was a bit short which I found surprising. I will cellar this a few more years (2016) before opening the next bottle. VERY GOOD.

What an amazing bottle of wine. Deft and polished with beautiful black and blue fruits packed so densely but never comes across ponderous or clumsy. Pure black cassis, blackberries and pomegranate weave among intricate tannins and perfect balance. The nose shows a creamy texture cola and the color is near black. I just realized that note flowed out in reverse! Serious wine indeed and always one of the best deals in the valley.
Pobega'd and poured as I just got this as a replacement from the winery for a corked bottle. Just do it.

3 hour decant. nose shows a densely packed pure black fruit profile with currants in the lead; it also shows tons of elegance. Palate reveals a lush and focused profile with purity and class. Love the hints of the blackest blackberries, cardamom and violets. The structure is profound and the balance deft. Tannins show nice delineation without a hint, zero, nada, zilch of anything angular. Finish is long an consistent. Always a pleaser.

I can't believe it, but I failed to take formal notes; overall, I was really impressed and pleased; very vibrant nose and palate with smooth, ripe red fruits that mingled with hints of vanilla, cassis, and earth; super smooth tannins but still firm to keep this going for years. Outstanding.

Absolutely outstanding QPR. Decanted 3 hours, drank over the next hour. Stunningly smooth and supple with just the right amount of fruit. Definitely more "new world" than "old." Wonderful mouth feel with a solid 30-second finish.

Will got the shipment in on Tuesday. We opened one bottle right then and drank it with no decant. Wine was amazing. Big and bold with great fruit. Will get much better with age.

This is my first bottle of The Sisters and maybe it was expectations but this may be better than the estate cab (which I have had several bottles). I will defiantly do a blind of both Jones wines and see. Excellent value and wine!

I bought 8 sisters, now there are only 7 sisters left. Very nice. Great color and so clean looking. Its a young red and that is apparent on the nose as well as the palate. I will have the other half of the bottle tonight but Im giving this a 92 for what it is right now. I have hopes that in a few years this wine developes. I can see 94 in its future.

Every year I open this right off the truck This year I missed it by a day. Dark and purple and oozing youth. Nose of primary red/black fruits with fresh raspberries and strawberries leading the way. As you swirl, you can coax some darker fruits out. Palate shows a very young but pure wine with tons of potential. I can’t recall ever tasting this one on Delivery plus 0/1 days with such a primary streak. This is a serious wine made in a very different direction than all else before her (and I have had every one since 2003). As it sits in my glass it unfurls into a fragrant and giving, plush wine. I can smell it from a foot away now. Finish is long and I am reminded of why I love it so. Even in a small creep up in price this remains an awesome deal and one of the better valley wines in the 60ish range.

This was pleasant enough, black cherry fruit, but not much to contemplate. Relatively short finish. Solid Napa cab, but nothing at all distinctive.

Its still very nice but clearly hiting middle age. Few years left but better to drink these sooner rather than later.

Medium weight and nice mid palate; has some white pepper notes to it. Very drinkable and should continue to improve with age.
