Typically smooth Claret with good integrated tannins that have softened delightfully over time - only issue is it doesn’t feel as vibrant as I’d like….perhaps left it too long?

Bit flat The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, black currant (cassis) and light toast. It tastes like black currant (cassis), blackberry, barnyard and horsey. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

This is actually quite good and frankly, what I'm looking for in a $12-$15 bottle of Bordeaux. Rather than trying to be something it isn't, this is a nice if somewhat lightweight drink with integrated tannins and legitimate Bordeaux nose and palate profile. Won't make you weak in the knees, but for $150 a case this makes a very nice house wine.
