  • Pure and focused at the nose. Tart cherries, cassis and cedar. Juicy and velvety on the palate, subtle signs of evolution, integrated oak and dustiness. Nicely balanced but lacking some intensity on the fruit side, falls short on the mid palate. Deep, savory finish with soft tannins. The nose and finish are tremendous, some minor issues on the palate which might relate to the difficult vintage.

  • More fresh fruity than expected. The body is Light/Medium. The wine finishes Short. A much lighter wine than expected. This actually would go well with any seafood dish, but was too light with the roast sausage meal we had.
