Somewhat restrained on the nose, but rich and smooth in the mouth with intense coffee and bitter chocolate notes. Like most Sineann wines, a fine value. Picked up additional complexity on Day 2, so decant or hold.

A bunch of Sineann: As fruit forward as Sineann's Pinot's are, I find it interesting that the Cabs are not (quite). Blind, I think I would have guessed this to be Bordeaux. The nose has cassis, some graphite, a bit of green tobacco. On the palate, there is some complexity here, if tightly wound layers. This should improve a bit. Nice balance and food friendly.

This wine seemed faded at first but gradually revealed subtle nuances of fruit and depth all in a velvet body.

Beautiful blackberry notes, cassis, currant, etc. violets on the nose. Sweet fruit balanced acidity and tannins. Quite nice. Outstanding effort!
