Nose of peach and apricot. Palate of lime and orange and pith flanking an odd chardonnay/oak mid-palate. Interesting pinot gris, for sure, but not my style (not worth $17).

This is really nice. I wonder if the fruit had some botrytis? Its bone dry, but there is that aroma of a kind of canned peaches that I often get with botrytis. Anyway, this has a lush full texture and enough acidity to keep it refreshing. Great peach fruit notes. Delicious wine that held up over two days.

- Light gold color and aromas of apricot and peach. It's balanced and has flavours of apricot, apple and melon with a medium/full body. Round texture - Beautiful balance of citrus acids and solid body and finish. Really excellent with our fish

Dinner with Friends; 11/13/2011-11/14/2011: Solid wine. Had a nice steak of acidity to it that went really well with some spiced almonds. I also used some for some sauteed mushrooms that gave them an almost citrusy quality. The wine has lost a bit of fruit from release, but is still clean with good minerality and a nice yellow grapefruit quality. Very nice.

Winemakers you know (Mike G. visits) (Mike Posk's): Really outstanding effort! Silvery gold in color. The nose is great. Complex with minerals and pears. Oily texture. Lots of grapefruit on the palate with good acidity. Strong grapefruit on the finish. Really excellent wine.

A couple of Italians and a Pinot Gris (Pranzo's): Glass cork. Silvery gold in color. On opening I thought this was a bit too tart and acidic. The nose wasn't giving up much either. After about 15 minutes and with some food, it seemed to fall into place. A nice mineral nose with some sea air. On the palate, this is crisp with nice mouthfeel. Seems more mineral/less fruit driven than prior versions which works well especially with food. Might have been served a bit too cold a first as well.

Tart, crisp and delicious! Very light golden straw color. Lots of acid balanced out by tart green apple. Excellent, refreshingly good.
