Grippy graphite and tar, dried red currant, mint, eucalyptus, cedar, cigar ash, elevated alcohol that warms as it goes down - classic Sonoma cabernet markers. Very clean. medium-full bodied, but mostly from alcohol. Aromatics are developing with air - some rose and macerated strawberry.

This is still fantastic. Shame on anyone who uses this for sangria!
Rich dark complex flavors balanced with still present acidity. Serious sonoma terroir. Lancaster deserves the price and accolades. This stuff is incredible.

Tasted over 2 hours to see if air would perk this thing up. It remained good but never improved. Nice structure. Tannins soft now. Not likely to improve with age. Drink up and keep expectations reasonable.

Initially closed, opening significantly on day 2. On first taste, tannin and other oak elements were dominant. Muted nose of dark fruit. Medium finish. 2nd day, fruit and tannin in balance and developing complexity apparent. Decant 2+ hours if drinking now but I would hold for 2+ years.

Same as last note. Nothing special but decent. Limited improvement with decant.

Dark stewed fruits a bit of tar and well integrated tannin.

Nice...nothing special. Smooth tannins, not much fruit....Unfortunately it was an pleasant underwhelming wine.

Tried at winery and bought several bottles. Very deep structure. Will benefit from a few years of aging.
