Light copper colour and very lively mousse. Bread dough, sweetly fruity. Palate is lightly fruity, slightly sweet and crisp. Ho-hum. points for the good bubbles

Tasmania Wineries Jan-12 (2) - Tamar Valley; 1/15/2012-1/19/2012 (Tasmania): {A$28} Chardonnay-derived fruits, with a whack of green apple and white-fleshed fruit aromas. The palate shows the pinot more, with a strawberry bent to the dry palate, which otherwise spotlights peach/nectarine flavours. There’s a refreshing element of dry sourness to the texture here with medium-high acid, medium-sized bright bubbles and a generally light-medium body. Very much an aperitif style, with a clean medium-length finish. Decent value too.
