Wine became better with another year in the bottle, needs about an hour to decant, lots of fruit in the nose and pleasant to drink, not too much tannins. Curious to see how it holds up on day 2 and 3.

Given sufficient air for 1-2 hrs brings the wine to life. Nose with fruity tones, alcohol very present. Fullbodied taste with nice tannins wound in dark fruits components. Will develop with further cellaring for ca. 2-4 years. A nice wine - and a very good bargain at approximately 10 $

Agree with previous notes, showed a bit closed within the first half hour but it opened up after a while. Should have decanted about an hour before drinking I think. At first sip, the earth and cedar-tones were very present. The plate was tight but not to tight. The finish had clear tones of tobacco and some spices, should keep over next 3-5 years, will probably become less tight and more smooth. Think I will drink my second (and last) bottle around 2015.

Vinturied. Very delicious. Wasn't sure what to expect from an Haut Medoc, being more used to right bank. This was quite open, color beginning to redden, soft tannins.

I must say that this wine was a delight! It showed a bit closed within the first 10 minutes but i opened up nicely and the classic cedar-tone with some fresh barriers was all in all pretty nice! the plate was tight in a good way with the fruit covered in earth and cedar with was really nice and it had a massive mouth feel and was full bodied. the finish had clear tones of lickerish and a small hint of tobacco and this along with the dark barriers going through all the way made it a really good wine! I look forward to tasting the 09

French smelling, in the nicest way. Actually, sulfured up. Need some air. Fruit and concentration are there, just needs some time to shed out or oxy. out the sulfur.
