Good fruit but not quite ripe and multidimensional. Tannins are still noticeable. Medium to full bodied. Medium length and somewhat bitter finish.Afterall, it has a well balanced alcohol and oak.

Lot 11 is always a good wine the question is when is it a great wine.. I think this 2006 is just short of greatness but we sure enjoyed it.. it was such a good wine with the Ribeye.... YUMMMMM.....

Dark ruby in color. Leather, fruit, and barbecue on the nose. Nicely balanced tannins, but on the mildly dry side. Nice sipping wine, or good paired with food (grilled chicken, parmesan sweet potatoes, baked parmesan and spinach bake), but, oh, it would be good with chocolate!

Hugely tannic. This is a big wine that needs decanting and time to savor. But it rewards with chocolate, tobacco and subtle fruit that ripens with slow appreciation. We may have opened too soon.

Thin but still holding up. Not much of focused flavors.

I didn't taste the 91 pts. A bit harsh, even after being opened and decanter for 3 hours. I'ld rather pay $25 more for Caymus.

Light bodied and dry. Aromas of leather. Flavors of cherries and plums. Excellent wine.
