Litchi, guava, ripe bosque pear, thyme, well integrated and nothing over the top. Bright, balanced, razor sharp (no flabinness here), with a good degree of acidity to support the fruit. Showing no signs of age. Really nice!

Allowed the bottle to come to room temperature before opening, no decant. Enjoyed with turquoise lingcod broiled and paired with Jeff's basil-lemon-garlic glaze. Delicious glyceriny and juicy vanilla-tangerine-pear fruit flavors that are completely integrated. Definitely more California than French style (Slightly extracted but in a delicious way.) Would not recommend aging this wine any longer.

Can't get enough of the Stonestreet Chardonnays! Still prefer the Broken Road, but the Upper Barn was flat out delicious. Love the French style and subtle oak. Will be buying more. Already planning our 2012 trip to Napa and this winery is #1 on our list to go back to.

Opened my last one of these to enjoy with cracked crab. Still delicious and would surely last more years. Somewhere between California and Burgundy.
