A bold nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black in color. A bold full bodied red blend, with blackberry, currants, dusty spices, smoky and long finish. A great QPR, not for the faint hearted or Old World fans.

I always enjoy this at The Grape in Dallas and decided to try it at home. It didn't approach the quality I remember, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe it was the styrofoam cup.

Rhone Rangers Experience (Paso Robles): Bright red and black fruit nose. Raspberry and plum palate with depth and length. Nose is more expressive right now than the palate. Needs a bit of time but good

A delicious, chewy red blend of 42% Petite Sirah, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 8% Mourvedre. Initial aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and blackberries hint at the richly-layered flavors to come: berries, cocoa, and a darkly toasted note. This robust wine will stand up to any grilled meats, stews, braises, or other hearty fare and is a steal at $16.

Big, fruit forward Californian without much to keep me interested. May be on the downward slope but I didn't drink it when young to compare.

Quite nice for the price. Inky dark color for they eyes and dark fruits for the palate. Lightly toasted oak.

PnP. Needed a few minutes. Dense fruit but no annoying sweetness. Great value.
