Deep gold color, with a citrus nose. Nice balance on the palate with lemon, and a petroleum taste (waxy lemon was something read and it seems accurate) Despite the words very nice, also some vanilla too.

What a great wine. Beautiful yellow straw color. Nose is opening up with time to show hazelnuts, lemon, pepper and light apple. The balance is just perfect: acidity, flavors, finish...Velvety, complex with layers of flavors always rounded by the hazelnut. Again, the balance is just there and perfect. Finish just seem to stay forever... Perfect to drink now and will hold for a good 5 years.

LAW Burgs: Seemed corked at first, but I think it was my glass. 2nd: a touch of funk/barn in there, but still nice; “cheesy”, buttery mth, marmalade, nice long fin.

Full straw color with a faint tinge of green; nose of sweet apple and waxy lemon; full flavors of intense, old-vine chardonnay with excellent balancing acidity. "In transition" from a precocious youngster to a mature white burgundy in all its (potential) glory. Nice length as it certainly has power to it. Should be firing on all cylinders in 2-3 years.

Pear, spice, and butterscotch. I realize this reads like a tasting note for a CA chard (perish the thought) but this struck me as Burgundy grapes vinified by, oh, Kistler. Except, the fruit is penetrating; another taster likened it to the nose of a pear brandy. Tremendous mouth feel and a lot of energy. Probably better in a year or two.

This wine threw me. The colour was so deep yellow that I assumed it must be 90s burgundy. Some nice apples and biscuit, with creamy texture.
