Opaque back cherry hue. Intense but earthy aromas of raisin pith, black tea, wet, loamy earth, concrete, sweet rubber with hints of cherry and mint. Thick but ripe tannin, moderate acid, astounding depth and length and still so young! Flavors of black tea, fresh mushroom, fresh earth and raisin. Wow. 18 months in 40% new oak. Stellar wine with precision, power, elegance and pedigree. Drink or Hold.
