Second bottle tasted over last 6 months with same notes, delicate
feminine red fruit with earth, stone and a pleasant exotic spice that yields to fruit again on the subtle finish, but what really strikes me about this wine is the utter silkiness of the tannins in the background. Definitely needs time after opening although I didn't decant.

wow - so much better than the previous bottle. Needed a lot of time in the decanter to come round, and definitlely needed food (goose was superb...). Warm and rounded with a long finish.

Slightly disappointing; some strawberry fruit on the palate with gentle spice and medium tannins at the finish. Improved after a couple of hours in the decanter but still lacked something given the price

A perfect example of what Burgundy is all about! At it's right temperature of 16 degrees C. This wine was an elegant and femine wine. Medium bodied with just the merest whiff of barnyard and then sweet strawberries and a hint of cinnamon. Tannins not apparant until the end which I suspect were oak tannins. Touch of minerality in the mouth gives it that light feminine intensity and carries the length.
Drinking wonderfully now and I would feel doesn't have much more to offer

1995 vs 1996 Burgs (NYC): Plump red and black fruit flavors, mixed in with some nice earth. Ever so slightly rustic. A bit of lightening on the rim (which was not evident in the next wine) makes me guess 1995.

Excellent mature Burgundy. Fully resolved, meaty, farmyard and sous bois. Yum yum!

WOTF for me. Utterly delicious, red fruited palate with some hiints of brett and herbs. Fully resolved and drinking beautifully.
