Great QPR Pinot. Tasted blind with 2010 Chasseur Somoma County and Kendrick Marin 2006, this was the favorite and picked as the priciest. Typical Cali Pinot nose followed by full bodied well-structured palate with ripe red fruits. Evolved gracefully over the course of 3 hours with surprising finesse for a sub-$18 Pinot. Definite re-buy.

Big nose , dark, deep, purple color. Velvety mouth feel, crisp acidity, filled with all sorts of highly concentrated black fruit. The grower claims the grapes are DRC La Tache, and they may well be. Will be serving at our November tasting. Yummy, big, Santa Lucia Pinot Noir.

Average - nothing note worthy about this Pinot. Notes of tropical fruit

Nice Pinot but not a 90+ point wine. Opened for about 30 minutesLight cherry tone but didn't open up more than that.

I was not expecting much from this, having had\previous vintages. Pleasantly surprised, good SLH character on a budget.

This is a nice tasty Pinot. At $20, it is a really good deal. My only criticism is that there is a fair amount of sulphur on the nose.

Nice wine for the money - good Pinot flavors. *** Definitely better day 2-3 - had time to open and show it's charms ***

Los Olivos Tasting: 150 cases, Gary Pisoni son makes this I believe. Really nice smooth fruit. Seems ready to drink right now. A bit simple.
