Best Okanagan Cab I've ever tasted, right after The Wrath 2009 from Fairview Cellars. At it's peak; I don't believe it will improve that much. Very St-Julien-like. Very complex (leather, spices, red & black berries) with smooth tannins and mouth watering acidity. Excellent length. I love this wine; too bad I only had one bottle. Great job Painted Rock!
2 hr decant, very enjoyable modern new world cab. big, lots of fruit, maybe a lit too much oak. needs some time to fully integrate and for tannins to resolve, but has potential to be really good. leave remaining three bottles for 2-3 yrs. love what they are doing at painted rock. best canadian cab i have ever had. buy more
