jammy, but light, chewy-good nose

Fruit & Jam. Brick red color
This 2009 is drinking perfectly...Not a Zin person but this is fabulous. Very smooth, velvety soft, rich in flavor, full bodied.
Better than last bottle. Fruit forward, but not overly cloying with good balance.
Not a Zinfandel guy, but thoroughly enjoyed this bottle. Great fruit, well balanced.
A bit heavy on the oak, expect to better meld over time.
Nose of dark fruit, inky, and earth, more of the same on the palate, muddy flavors, simple, medium body, and medium finish. $50 winery retail and it's a disappointment.
