- Garnet color and aromas of black pepper, tea, fig, cedar and mushroom. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of raspberry and tea with a light/medium body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Red slightly brownish. Medium intensity. Dried fruit, slightly alcoholic and bitter. More spicy than fruity. Pleasant if drunk with food.

No nose a mere few seconds after pouring. Nice balance. Lots of floral notes, dusty leather, good tanic balance. Long finish. Should be really interesting in a few more years.

Color: very dark purple. Taste: Nice fruit and soft tannins. An easy, round, full and luscious wine. Maybe a bit creamy. Not complex, no depth, but I can not exclude that this will come with cellaring. Quite attractive. Can be drunk well today. For now 87, potentially 88+.

very dark black with ruby rim. intense nose of tapenade, blackberries, mint. almost sweet, lots of plummy fruit and a bit of coffee on the mouth. soft tannins that show up only on the relatively short finish. California dreaming? good QPR.

A decent Anthonic but not more than that-- not near the quality this chateau achieved in 1998, 2001 and 2005. Even their remarkable 1997 would, in its years of glory, have outranked this rather pedestrian 2009.

it performed as accepted, after some time in the glass it suffered from increasing bitterness, suggesting that it needs some extra time in the cellar
