well balanced pinot noir. Bright fruit with some earthiness to add depth. Only criticism was it didn't seem good enough to justify the price we paid for the wine at the winery ($60)..

Just starting to hit its stride - the bitter extraction has fallen away, yielding a high-acid, mouth-watering delightful grape-citrus-red-fruit palate-cleansing effect that is addictive on its own and easily couples well with a great number of foods. This is not a particularly "plush" wine, but it's clean and zippy! I wish I had more!

Popped and poured. Ethyl acetate on the nose (nail polish remover) along with some truly beautiful notes of cherries and spice. A hint of wood added complexity to the bouquet. As the wine opened up, the EA got worse but I also started picking up white pepper and hints of pomegranate. The mouthfeel is solid, with firm tannin and lively acidity keeping the ripe cherry and strawberry flavors balanced. On the finish, things get a little disjointed with some alcoholic heat creeping in and smothering what I thought might be delicate, dried-mushroom flavors. A bit disappointing considering the price of this wine and the winery's provenance, but still a good bottle.

Wine Spectator's Grand Tour, Las Vegas NV 2012 (Grand Ballroom Mirage Casino, Las Vegas NV): This was our 2nd favorite Pinot of the night. Acid front and light smooth flavors. Lingering light and smooth tannins. The wine is what I call a feminine type character Pinot --- Light lush and smooth with only the hints of the earthiness. We had this wine with our food and it went well with all including the sweet deserts

Not spectacular; mild acidity, tannins.
