Weak to moderate nose of black cherry and bramble. Similar attack with excellent concentration, heavy body for a pinot, excellent balance, moderate length, and a balanced, consistent finish. Some complexity, though less than I would have hoped for at this price point.

This wine started delicious with brambly red fruits on the nose. Though not the structured pinot taste that you might expect from a Pinot from the northwest (or from a French Burgundy), still pretty good. Paired well with soup, easily drinkable with a wide range of foods. Light, but more velvety in the mouth than expected. In addition to the fruit, tasted hints of pepper and chocolate. All in all, nice, but not worth the price.

Dark purple. Dark fruit and plums on the nose. Palate was lighter and softer than nose suggested. Finishes with a bitter note that lingers. Seemed to blow off after remaining bottle was vac-u-vined overnight but returned after bottle was reopened for 30 minutes or so.

Not easy to pair ham 'n split pea soup, but this did the trick. Floral fragrance, medium body, smooth finish.

Very lean, simple and watered down. Tart fruit on attack with little to no finish. Very disappointing.

Recommend this one sits open for 30 mins before drinking. Very solid Pinot, spicy with good tannins.

This is a very refined pinot made in the CA style. Balanced with a soft fruitiness. Ready now.
