Based on our previous notes and memory, this wine is on the downhill side of it's prime. That being said, it's still quite enjoyable with srewed black fruit, cedar, black pepper and an earthy cellar component. Has a dry and light tannic finish that plays well with earthy foods.

Wow, the nose and taste are so much similar to my previous 3 years old notes of this very nice wine, that I will not repeat myself again... Well made wine! This time this was part of our New Year eve dinner and I served it with rack of lamb - the match was from heaven!
Too bad this is my last (out of 4) bottle, as we enjoyed these so much over last 8 years!

Dark color, vanilla and spice on nose. Silky on the palate with more vanilla. I'd guess its American Oak. Pretty nice wine for that specific new world style.

Continues to improve each year, becoming smoother and more balanced with greater neuaces of flavors. Nice black fruit without being cloying in any way. Wonderful acidity that helps carry the peppery, cocoa and cedar flavors into a medium plus gripy finish. Can see this drinking great over the next ten years.

Dark and shining color, lots of sediments in the bottle. Opened with spices, cedar, some chocolate and below all these – lots of black fruits. Medium body. The palate is amazing - fresh, balanced, good acidity, tasty tannin. Medium to long finish. Just great wine properly made and at the right time…

This probably would have been given a better score if I had treated it a little better. Popped and poured this bottle. I'll be sure to give it a proper decant next time.

I liked this a lot. There are stylistic similarities between different vintages of Persistence. But each vintage is a distinct wine. Clear dark garnet. Nose of blueberry, cedar, and vanilla. Ripe palate of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, graphite, espresso, and licorice. Excellent length. Mostly integrated oak. Sweet tannins.

This wine is drinking quite nicely right now. I'd say the 2013-2019 drinking window is a bit optimistic. I've got 3 more bottles that I don't think I'll hold on to beyond 2015. I don't want to drink the last one and regret I didn't drink it sooner. It is very smooth and easy to drink right now.

Very good for this price point $25. Fruit is solid but not real forward and tannins are smooth. Decent overall, but I always relegate it to a second bottle.

Nose was pleasurable but did not translate to palate. Good drinking wine but drank more like a $18 bottle and not the price range it often sells in. Possibly dying?

Here is one that came out of nowhere. Another "wine access "great"". Anyhow a solid wine especially for the price. Big fruit and tannins. Needs some time, but has the bones.
Wow. Surprised by the drinkability of this wine and tannins that support some aging for this wine. Rich, dark fruits with dry, long finish. Slightly boozy (14.7%) on the nose but dissipates quickly. Not familiar with Reynolds, but impressed right out of the box. Paired well with stir fry (not spicy) and fried Quinoa (think fried rice except Quinoa), but better on its own. Drinking very well now. Reynolds website advises 10-15 year window. Will try not to drink my other 3 bottles in the next 2 years and hold at least 1 for 2016+. I have no self control....

Restaurant purchase based on favorable comments and reviews from others. PnP. This wine is fantastic! Intoxicating nose of deep blackberries, black raspberries, and cherries. Fruit forward but not jammy, very smooth. Great balance, bold flavors, and layered with complex layers. Long finish. WOTN, clearly outshined a number of others that were also enjoyed.

Decanted over two hours, forward, fresh and tasty but just a tad too much acidity for this palate.
