So fresh and elegant, almost Burgundian. In that particular vintage and with age, you find none of the usual oily texture. High acidity, salty, touch of pistachio and discreet orchard fruit. It's really not about the fruit, but more about what is going on on an umami standpoint. Really good and a treat to drink!!

Dorato intenso.

A little wax on the nose, hint of butter with praline (less obvious with time). Smoky oak which got better integrated with time (nothing annoying though). More wood spices with some apricot/quince. Palate is rich, round but never heavy, showing an almost oily texture. More lemon and apricot with less hazelnut, more freshness than the nose but overall hard to distinguish a lot of fruit. The light bitterness lifts up the finish (which is a little short). A very complex and interesting Simone. Striked me as a mix between a white Hermitage and white Burg.

This is an extraordinary bottle of wine . The bouquet is a bit reticent at first but has opened up to almost have a suspicion of incense and spice .Although only 12.5 degrees it seems very heady . Mainly Clairette with some Grenache Blanc and Muscat it tastes like a perfumed Le Soula . A deep gold but not in any way oxidised. There are notes of almond as well as herby garriguey notes and even a hint of fennel and smoke on the palate and some richness too . Fascinating .
