  • Pnp, light golden in color. Wild floral aroma and fig. Concentrated on palate, sweetness with marginally fading acidity still remain fresh. Mineral is represented in a slightly bitter after taste but given the concentration, this is hardly distracting. Lovely effort for a very ripe year.

  • In Beaune. Decanted and served blind. After arriving to the fact that it was Lafon Genevrieres, we couldn't have been further from 2003. It displayed none of the ripeness or lack of acidity that is often found. There was a fantastic mix of juicy lemon and mineral with a bit of smoke as well. Great concentration of fruit on the palate with nice mineral structure. Lengthy finish with good acidity.
