Wine has aged beautifully, showing the great structure developed by the winemaker. We enjoyed this with grilled veal chops on a hot summer night. Lovely nose, that opened to reveal dark cherry fruit with velvety soft tannins that complemented the dinner perfectly.

Pop and pour for a friend, but did the wine a disservice. Definately still needs some time in the decanter. There were some port-like notes on the finish, a little pruny, but overwhelmingly showed dark rich fruit and a dry profile.

Black cherry, red licorice , tight wood and vanilla on the nose. With three hour so of bottle air (not decanted) the wine flows smoothly but still shows some tight-grained wood on the palate. Blueberry, black cherry, more vanilla and young toasted oak, some pepper - this needs a few more years before revisiting but clearly drinkable and enjoyable today.

Initial pop and pour prompted me to decant much of the bottle. Without decant the wine had some astringent and green characteristics, but was otherwise fine. With a decant and some added vinturi action, these off-notes dissipated. With 4.5 hours of air time the wine exhibited a tight nose with oak and alcohol, but had a profile that was silky smooth. Lots of blue fruit, young cedar, and vanilla. I think this will really improve as the woody-components soften in the coming 2-3 years, but with 3+ hours of air today its still a very enjoyable bottle and one of the better cab francs to be found.

Decanted and consumed over 3 hrs. Blueberry, oak, glycerin on the nose. Medium-light in weight. Blue fruit, alcohol, smooth but fine, moderate tannins.

No detailed notes. Dark fruit with crunchy tannins. Finely restrained palate. Very nice.
