This wine is a great value for $10 and you can find it pretty easily (at least here in NJ). Yes, we are admittedly big fans of Charles Smith since visiting his tasting room in Walla Walla last July!

Violet red. Fruity nose with dark and aggressive aromas. M+ size. In the mouth this is a typical dark-fruity style wine with an add-on of chewy, un-refined and little bitter tannins. Quite agreeable and even if not so fancy, would do well with a BBQ. At KLM Lounge, Schiphol Airport.

A very nice bottle of wine. Starts out very bright with lots of berry on the nose and palate. After a few hours of decanting the flavors deepen to dark berry with a hint of chocolate. A nice wine for the price and easy to drink with a little airing.

- Crimsom color - Drinkable wine. The youngness of the wine shows through. Takes a while for it to open up, I recommend letting it breathe for at least a hour before enjoying. It won't knock your socks off, but for the price it makes a good weekday bottle that you don't have to feel bad not finishing. .

Very reliable wine that always outperforms its price point (or at least meets it). NIce notes of blackberry, tobacco and toasted oak, on a soft but firm tannic backbone.

Takes a while to open up, but this is a fun wine. It doesn't have a punchy nose, and it mostly smells like, well, lavender crossed with grape Kool-Aid. It's also much lighter in taste than its inky purple appearance may indicate. However, after an hour, it develops into an enjoyably fruity mix of strawberry, cherry, chocolate, cassis, pepper and pine. It's the kind of wine that tickles the tongue and then goes down smooth. I would bring it to a party that (d)evolves into a crazy jam session with friends.

A solid everyday wine. A little hot and chunky, but rich blackberry, chocolate, and plum flavors. A little pepper on the finish, but basically smooth. Good for a Tuesday night.

Like this better than smith's 2010 cab. The blend has a more balanced creaminess to it. Easy drinking with just enough substance.

A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A medium bodied red blend, with cherry, blueberry, with a spicy finish, good QPR, cool label.

Good blend. Currant, blackberry, plum. Chocolate, cola, anise. PNP--let it breathe a little. Fairly soft and jammy on the finish.

Dark fruit and oak. A little young, but coming along nicely. A touch hot upon opening, so give it a little time to breath.
