A bunch of Sineann: I really like this wine. Its great for the end of an evening when too many wines had already been opened, but you still want something good. A blend of a bunch of different varietals, there is always some complexity from the blend. Good fruit. Easy to drink, but enough to capture one's interest. Cherries, black raspberries, raspberries, some leather on the nose. Fruit on the palate to match. Solid QPR.

Always a crowd pleaser. This was opened after dinner while we sat around talking. Plenty of fruit. Some complexity. Makes an interesting wine but doesn't dominate. Great qpr.

earthy, vanilla, dark fruit on the nose. full bodied with a sour cherry, pepper and spice palate. wife thought it was extremely tannic, like a young nebbiolo. i disagree and think well balanced but very dry. needs food.

Catching up on recent notes; 4/1/2012-5/1/2012: Always one of my favorite wines. This too will probably improve a bit with some age. It just arrived last week. Its a blend of a whole bunch of different varietals and sell for around $24. Purple in color. The nose has black cherries, cherries, and some licorice. On the palate, full bodied with some complexity. Nice balance. Worked well with food. A crowd pleaser for sure.

Distant aroma, rich heavy dark body with raisin tones. Little complexity.

Probably needed more time to cellar.
