Dark ruby in color, with slight sign of garnet on edges. Notes of Black Cherry, Cassis, leather and dark chocolate on nose and palate. Dry, med body, med acidity, and nice tannins. This wine is drinking at its peak IMO. Very complex, the fruit is still solid, but the acidity is still strong and making it great with food. A great wine.

What a great bottle of wine. Definitely drinking nicely. Definite notes of cassis; jammy and bold. I think Spectator blew the score. This is an easy 93 pointer. Score [ 50 + 5 + 12 + 18 + 8] = 93.

Very well integrated with age. Blackberries and cassis are the predominant fruit. Secondary flavors and aromas include brown sugar, apple pie and cinnamon. Developed a nice smoothness with tertiary flavors of earth and mushroom. May have a few more years but good now.

Coming into its own early, lacking the punch of most top tier Napa cab/ cab blends, there's a very left bank evocation here that's delicious and easy to admire. The nose has a tarry terrestrial density with dark berries and Arabian mocha and Peruvian toffee. In the mouth it's soft and round from a judicious dose of merlot. In the absence of big fruit, there's a beautiful underlying gravelly element that may be the most compelling aspect of the wine.

Coffee bean, earthy jammy cherries, forest floor and spice box notes lead to a silky, soft, plush and polished expression of California Cabernet Sauvignon that ends with a sweet, fresh, forward red and black fruit filled finish.

Coffee, licorice, black, red and blue fruits with smoke aromas open to a soft, plush, forward, oaky, blackberry filled finish. The wine was made from a blend of 41% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Merlot and aged in 75% new oak for 21 months.
