2 weeks in France; 4/14/2012-4/28/2012 (Provence and Dordogne): Sampled at the winery. Dark fruit, spice, and smoke on the nose. This was on the lighter side, with a linear beam of dark fruit that could use a bit more weight to balance the acid and tannins, which have a green edge. Hopefully will flesh out more in time. This would be much better with food. 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah.
