Mature but thankfully not oxidized. Aromas of ripe, toasty fruit with roasted nut character. Dense stone fruit flavors with lots of texture and concentration. Good now, but certainly not getting better.

More mature than previous bottles. Good fruit but old-style oxidative nuttiness showing here. Ripe and fat almost like a Meursault. Drink up on this showing.

Approaching maturity. Golden colour, healthy nose with a touch of leaf mould, nuts and lots of acacia and yellow fruits. Ripe and rounded, still a bit of oak but good citrus fruit with a mature tinge. Needs a couple more years yet for those who like a nutty edge to their Meursault. Good wine.

A particularly nice bottle. Butter yellow colour. Nose has almond, acacia honey and lashings of melted butter. Very buttery flavour too with lots of floral complexity, a hint of oak but this is now well integrated, and some mineral depth to the rich fruit. Classic.

Golden, toasty and the first signs of some nutty maturity. Good minerally fruit and still just about hanging onto some oak but that should fade. Ripe, full and a good lingering finish.

Buttercup yellow, ripe citrussy fruit and a hint of oak on the nose - vanilla. Better integration in the flavour, ripe lemony fruit, a bit of tropical fruit too perhaps and a lingering finish. Good wine.

A better, fresher bottle than previously. fairly keen acidity and a little oak but nice nose with ripe fruit and fuscias. Good subtle flavour, minerally fruit and a touch of oak. A little less acidity showing in this bottle would have made this excellent.

Oh dear. My first from a case. This tasted more like a 15 year old wine than a 6 year old one. Gold colour, a bit of expected fruit/oak/leaf mould on the nose but I thought I detected the beginnings of that plasticine taint that comes with prematurely oxidised wines. The cork looked ok though - no blue tinge. This tasted quite good though more mature than it should at this stage. Ripe, soft and buttery with decent fruit and subtle oak. I need to try some more bottles. My fear is that this would have been undrinkable in a year's time.

My last bottle from a case - poxed. 6 were fine the other 6 either poxed or heading in that direction.

Not poxed but tasting a little tired. Yellow gold, oxidative nose with a bit of buttry fruit. A pleasant drink but earlier bottles were better.
