Yuck. Off-dry with very little acidity to hold it up. Becomes sickly very quickly. Drink it cold and with spicy food if you must. Or just buy a half decent Kabinett for a similar price.

Apparently Brown Brothers is pretty much the last bastion for Crouchen variety anywhere in the world. Which seemed a good enough reason to give it a go. Wine is definitely on the sweet side which tended to dominate the experience. Fruity, crisp taste meant that overall experience wasn't too bad.
