Really enjoyed this cava - the bubbles and acidity were nice and the flavor had a very faint mineral-smokiness especially prevalent after enjoying a bowl of fresh steamed mussels. Would purchase again and have in stock

Has the Xarello smokey thing but in a nice way. 8 g / L dosage, roughly. Again with smoke-iness on the palate but with a sense of quality - i.e. like these are what the indigenous grapes should make it taste like.

The Brut Reserva actually. Reserva is longer aging - 24 months on it. This heads the smokiness in a bit more of a rubber direction to me. But fuller and rounder on the palate. Softer, more mellow, and creamier.

The Brut Nature on this one. Less of the smoke-y thing than the regular Brut. On the nose. Super interesting on the palate with a bit of earthiness but not so heavy to it. Darn interesting Cava for all of that. Oddly enough, I think if I was to do it, the Brut Nature.

This was a big hit with the group. Bright, nice orchard fruit that comes through as pure and delicious. Some toasty complexity too, but subtle (nice for a group that often finds it too much in Champagne).

Rather neutral color with a pale green hue. Rather restrained and neutral nose with light aromas of fresh apple, chalky minerality and a hint of rubber. Dry, crisp and acid-driven on the palate with flavors of ripe apple, some honey and a hint of yellow plums. Noticeably fruitier than the nose. Fine, crisp and persistent mousse. The medium-length finish is crisp and refreshing with acid-driven flavors of citrus fruits, some grassy greenness and a hint of rubber.
A clean and refreshing but rather simple and neutral Cava. Perfectly drinkable but not memorable in any way. A wine you can enjoy one glass on a terrace without thinking about it, but nothing you'd want if you are looking for a good and interesting bubbly.

Decent cava for the price.
Green apple and a bit of toasty brioche leading to a mildly licorice-like finish.
Was even good 3 days later when it had gone flat.

Very expressive nose of yellow apple, quince, guava, citrus fruit and biscuit. Smooth, dry palate showing loads of fruit and a long finish.

Lots of sweet fruit on the palate, to the point of being sweet.

Masonry, minerals, soft chalk; good acidity, good white fruits, tangy, citrusy. Excellent simple clean Cava.
