Deep dark fruit, focused, balanced, meaty, gamey, and delicious. This is how California premium Syrah should taste, absolutely true to the region and varietal. Tons of fruit but not over the top or too raisiny or too much alcohol. Great balance while at the same time hedonistic and deep. Damn good. Oak has integrated well.
