From a 0.21 ha plot with an average annual production of 1200 bottles. 55 Years old vine, 80% destemming and 40% new barrels.
Initially, a little bit worried about it due to some seepage, yet it does deliver an excellent example of 2010 and Chambolle terroir. Juicy and fresh berries wrapped with a hint of floral scent, nice concentration, super silky tannin with just right amount of weight in the mouth, gorgeous wine, and probably at its plateau. (

Wonderful PN nose, complex, airy and elegant. Served blind alongside 2006 and 2008, many steps ahead of those -- difficult to imagine that it is the same wine.

Keller Open Afterparty (Weingut Keller): This is just a very pure interpretation of how Pinot Noir could be. I doubt that I´ve ever had a wine which was more fine than this 1er Cru from Chambolle-Musigny. You have this typical super fine red fruit (raspberry and red cherry) mixed with herbs, wet stone and just a hint of sweetness. So fine and elegant. On the palate the wine is nearly transparent, but still deliver such a fine fruit impression. This Chambolle-Musigny is all about finesse. Not a wine for a blind tasting. You would overlook it. Its even more impressive if you know, that Charles Van Canneyt was only 21 years old as he bottled this wonderful stuff.

Agree with other tasters -- this was distractingly reductive. Bottle was also apparently roughly-treated in transit -- cork was soaked all the way through and there was some seepage into the capsule. Third straight '10 H-N that was this way (and from two different importers); a bad trend. Good material lurking behind the reduction, it seems. Beautiful mouthfeel. Complex and balanced. Should be good for years to come, assuming reasonable bottle integrity. Try again 2015.
Opened and poured, the aromatics initially shows some reduction that detracts from the overall impression of the wine. Airing caused the reduction elements to fade in and out; however, this bottle never fully losses the off putting sulfur and burnt rubber elements. Unfortunately for this bottle, the reductive elements mask the underlying elegant and distinguished wine.
