Very pleasant, starting to show tertiary aromas and flavours. In a good place to drink now. Mildly spicy with clove, cinnamon and prune flavours but not over the top.

Delicious nose of wild raspberries, strawberries and cranberries. Cinnamon and perfumed tones. Also tertiary aromas of fungus, soil and leather. Elegant and slim, almost fragile in the mouth, a light blur of very fine-grained tannins, medium concentration, good acidity and good length. This is in a very good place at the moment. I served this blind, and the tasters immediately went to Central Burgundy and landed pretty quickly on 1 Cru-level from Vosne-Romanée. Not bad at all considering Aux Thorey is north of NSG and often describes as Vosne'esc in style.

Kraftig fruktstil i munn, sødmefull, forsiktige tanniner.

Soft light burgundy. Unfortunately all the guests liked it so 4 bottles later we are left with only 2. Vientiane extremely wel with sea bass and prawns. Suggest it is pnp because the last 2 bottles were even better than the first 2. Basically easy drinking Burgundy with over tonesd\

I really liked this. Was expecting a fairly rustic NSG but instead got a fairly light and charming wine full og finesse. On the nose I get strawberries, caramel, cinnamon. On the taste fine tannins, nice acidity. Believe I can sense the oak coming through on the finish and not as deep and complex as I'd like but still a great wine in a very fine vintage.

Color: very, very light/transparent cranberry core -> diffuse, pale rose colored rim; much lighter than expected for a Nuits St. Georges, especially one this young. Delicate, feminine bouquet (who switched my NSG for Chambolle?) of pomegranate, watermelon and strawberries with a touch of spice. Light palate (no surprise) of cranberry and beetroot. Great acid and a reasonable finish, there is no forest floor or earthiness or (OMG!) barnyard. I find no real NSG presence here and while this is light and pretty, I was hoping for a bit more substance. I'll just hope that I'm drinking this too early . . . .

Forfriskende, elegant rødbærsfrukt. Lett urtepreg. Timian. Slank og delikat, nydelig friskhet. Transparent lettvekter med fin dybde og balanse. Flott lengde med herlig syrlig avslutning.

Medium red; fresh raspberry nose; somewhat closed, tight, slightly sour with sweetness in the back, hint of fruit underneath; nice, seems to have goodies behind the current tightness, but probably needs time to soften(?); wait.

Fleshy, chunky, a little clumsy. Darker fruit than the Volnays with some earth and leather so it makes sense that this is the NSG, but without the sophistication and spice of the Vosne end or the depth and class of the southern end so guessed that this would be from near the village/Premeux-Prissey. Right! Much better value out there for NSG.

Complex nose that hints of lavender and watermelon. Quite tannic on the palate, with a somewhat jammy red berry character developing soon after. Notes of warm baking spice throughout. Fairly long finish. Has lots of potential but needs perhaps 10 years in the cellar.

Great stuff. Much lighter and more delicate than I'd expect from Nuits; pale in appearance and very red fruited with fragrant herbal, floral and slightly spicy/stemmy accents framing the fruit. There's a wonderful sense of lightness and elegance here, bright acids keeping this perfectly balanced and it's really fantastic wine.

Antakelig korket.

Light red; raspberry; light red berries, elegant, nice, refreshing, light expression, gentle tannic grip at the end; well tasting
