Not ready as of 11/29/15. Drank with turkey, which was a very bad call. Beast of a wine, with lots of tannin and depth. Needs more time. Save till 2018 at least.

Excellent bottle. Had to open one of the three. I still think it needs at least three to four more years before it is at its peak. A deep purple powerful wine with a lot of tannin structure. Really good but I feel it still can get even better. I won't be touching another for five years.

both deep opaque purple in color and indistinguishable...both have spectacularly fresh black fruits, dusty bedrock and mocha wafting from glass - 08 is a bit more fruit forward on the nose with 07 a bit more chocolate/cedar...07 fruit hits you square in the face - delicious and succulent through the mid-palate but still very young - would like to see fruit resolve a bit more to bring into balance bright acidity, refined tannins and a touch of heat/alcohol - built to age 20+ years...08 very similar but a bit more refined and with younger tannins that have more grip...virtually identical alcohol, residual sugar and ph...i understand why parker scored in upper 90s but these could benefit from 3-5 years of cellaring...you can't go wrong with either although the 08 seems to be available at half the price of the 07 at the moment which makes the 08 a relative deal

50/50 cab/merlot blend...3 hour decant....deep violet color...very expressive nose of ripe black fruits, charred oak, chocolate and camphor...succulent mouthwatering fruit on entry with notes of licorice and spice...a bit of heat through mid-palate...well-balanced acidity and firm dusty tannins help tame the fruit...built to age

Nice and juicy. Much plusher than their std merlot. Blue fruits, cassis, vanilla, with just a touch of spice. Could benefit from time (3+ years), but very nice now.

boy was this delicious, first time trying this wine. Maybe they nailed the '08 but I felt CT scores for all previous vintages were lower than what i experienced here. Anyway - classic Napa cab (and you can tell they used the high quality reserve fruit) with nose/palate of cassis, dark berries, vanilla, spice. Its weighty and deep with a strong finish, but also smooth. Overall a nice all-around wine but the blend also has nice uniqueness and pizzaz. Would definitely buy more.

Intoxicating floral aromas. Dark red color. Solid acidity. Tannins are soft and smooth. Flavors of dark fruit with a medium finish.

Elegant, Rich, Complex, Approachable... just a terrific wine that speaks for Cab and Merlot. (Had with lamb chops - loved it!)

Just barely in the window... amazing with a 1 hour decant. Surprisingly, room to improve. Try the last bottle in 2 years.

Inky black pour with a seductive nose and paired well with braised pork chops. This should hold well for 4-5 more years.

My bottle of this was ready to drink with a decant, though it could certainly had the stuffing to sit in the cellar for another 3-5 years.

Very promising. Need to hold longer or decant , but still very enjoyable fruit with significant tannin.
