Wonderfully bright floral aromas. Red and purple hues throughout. Red fruit flavors of cherry and cola. Perfectly integrated tannins with nice acidity. Very nice.

Opaque purple. Black fruits, plum and mild spices. More balanced with integrated tannins since last tasting a few years back. Full body with medium length finish.

This PS represents EVERYTHING I love in a wine. Beautiful, deep purple color with dark berries on the nose. It’s pretty tight on first taste but I anticipate this will open up as the night goes on and it is exposed to air. This will likely be even better tomorrow night. And, this is why I am a wine club member of Elyse Winery! Well done Ray and Nancy!

Drinking really well right now. Dark purple, beautiful nose (inky and with dark berries) and well integrated tannins. This wine had a really nice acidity right now and taste really fresh. Maybe near peak?

Pnp through venturi; opaque purple in the glass, lovely nose of blackberry, blueberry and spices. Velvety (soft) on the palate with tastes similar to the nose. Tannins pop up at the end to add a little pizazz to the finish which lingered about 15-20 seconds. Just as good on day two.
Jill liked it as well (smooth & approachable).

Nice deep purple black coloration. Good nose of blackberry, plum, and some very mild baking spices. More pronounced with some aeration and better on day 2. Nice balance and mouth feel. Great 60 second length.

Fruity but not too sweet, with tart overtones under the black and blue berries scents. Spicy yet not too peppery. Gorgeous deep crimson with a purplish rim. Smooth tannins go easy on the mouth while it's long finish suggest it will pair very nicely with game meat. Well integrated and it drinks effortlessly thanks to it's moderate alcohol content.

Drinking very well. Good fruit flavors. Reserved, not over the top. Nice extraction without being too sweet. Smooth mid palate and lasting finish. Been enjoying P.S. for a long long time but my first Jacob Franklin. A new favorite. Love the 13.6% alcohol.

Similar impressions to bottle back in Oct 2015. Drinking beautifully and was gone in an instant.

Very drinkable now, but should stay at peak another few years. Going to extend drinking window to 2020.

Pop n pour. Great fruit with a slight hint of softness from bottle age.
