Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Might freak a few people out as this is an extremely lean and wiry pinot noir, Loire Pinot tends to be highly acidic, even in normal years, but in cooler vintages like 2008 can be downright zippy. There are some pungent wild berries in here, but this is all stones and minerals. austere, perhaps, but pretty thrilling to drink. Serve at 16 C. Drink now-2014. Food pairing idea: apéritif, salmon (will work with most cooking methods except smoked)
