Transparent, somewhere between brick and purpur. Lovely nose with pine, pine-nuts, herb-garden and a generous, on the verge of luscious, red fruit, still very much alive. Notes of vanilla, pepper and roses. Elegant on the palate with some warmth and a nice, generous but balanced red fruit and darker notes of tobacco, tar and sandalwood. Silky tannins but perhaps a bit low on acid. Good lenght finish.
