Crimson in color but very transparent. Nose showing mushroom, anise, pomegranate, mocha, graham cracker crust. More red fruit & flowers. Flavors of stewed strawberry, cherry, stems & herbs. Nice acidity up front balanced with fine tannins. Mocha on the finish with black cherry. Really transparent pretty texture. Velvety and very Burgundian.

(B+) The overall impact of the wine has faded a touch from a couple years ago. Still a wonderful earthy element with tiny bit of fermented soy and vines giving an intoxicating sweetness to the cool red fruits. Cinnamon in there somewhere. Just remember it all being more prominent, and now it has receeded slightly. Yet, no secondary characteristics emerging. Drink now, or hold for a long time in hopes of getting secondary development.

Nice drop of vino. Showing nice umami elements, herbs and ripe fruits. A touch stewed but otherwise nice wine.

Consistent notes. Remains rich and full bodied with tannin's nicely integrated.

Easily the best example of Cali pinot I have ever tasted. At peak but certainly is durable enough to be enjoyed for a few more years.

A truly excellent pinot. Delicious and in a good place right now. Sorry I only have one more.

Enjoyable, but not great. Dark ruby color, but somewhat stiff and disjointed.
